Key Features of the Quest™

• Monolithic diamond ATR crystals that are both chemically resilient and scratch resistant, as well as extremely tough, being able to sustain the high point loads encountered when sampling hard, irregular solids.
• Interchangeable crystal pucks. Our ever-growing range of options currently includes ZnSe for soft materials, Ge for highly absorbing samples, and options for liquid containment and specular reflectance.
• Repeatable and reproducible sample loads are enabled by the pressure tower. This has an audible 'click' to indicate the preset pressure limit and features a swing anvil arm to allow easy access to the ATR crystal puck. Both plane and pellet anvils are provided with the accessory to allow analysis of samples of various shapes. These anvils are easily interchangeable and stored on the top plate when not in use.

 

Flow Cell

• 28 µL volume sample cover with Luer connections for filling and flowing sample.
• A larger 128 µL volume can be achieved in conjunction with the liquid sample pucks.
• Positioned and held using the pressure tower.

Flat and Liquid Pucks

• Flat is the standard configuration suitable for sampling of all solids and most liquids
• Liquid pucks have a 100 µL sample dish for containment of liquids
• All pucks are manufactured from stainless steel and are quickly and easily interchanged

 

Interchangeable ATR FTIR Crystal Puck

Various interchangeable ATR crystal pucks are available for the Quest.

Each puck is made from hardened stainless steel and held in place on the accessory magnetically making them easily interchangeable without requiring additional alignment.

 

 

 

Benchmark™ Baseplate

The Benchmark™ Baseplate system was developed to allow the same accessory to be installed in different systems simply by changing its mounting plate. The system also allows a single baseplate to be used for all Benchmark™ compatible accessories used in the same instrument.

The Arrow - New Silicone ATR

Arrow is a low-cost ATR sampling method that helps you to zero in on your analysis. It has a silicon chip as the internal reflection element for FTIR-ATR.
